Boston, Mass. – (January 11, 2023) – Vizit, the leader in image analytics software for global brands and retailers, today announced a record year of growth and achievements, including a more than 150 percent increase in 2022 SaaS sales bookings vs 2021. A key driver of the company’s sales performance was the successful launch of its new Visual Brand Performance Platform, a pioneering AI-powered analytics solution that does for commercial images what Google Analytics did for understanding website performance. Worldwide adoption of the Vizit Platform continued in 2022, with enterprise customers now in 10 countries across the globe.
To build on these accomplishments, Vizit has also expanded its executive team by adding Wayne St. Amand as Chief Operating Officer and EVP of Growth. Wayne brings decades of operational and go-to-market experience with high-growth technology companies, including executive roles with such organizations as Nielsen, Visual IQ, Brand Networks, and Crimson Hexagon, all pioneering providers of digital marketing measurement and effectiveness solutions for many of the world’s most successful consumer brands.
“In 2022, we saw customers’ AI-optimized imagery lift conversion rates and sales results throughout the digital shelf and beyond,” said Jehan Hamedi, Founder and CEO of Vizit. “Maximizing image effectiveness with targeted consumers is no longer a nice to have. It’s transforming the way billion dollar companies attract and convert their consumers across every channel. We’re ecstatic to have Wayne St. Amand on board to bring his operational and go-to-market expertise to Vizit to as we expand our global presence and usher in a new era of ecommerce performance.”
Other notable successes for Vizit in 2022 include:
Raised a $10M Series A round of funding led by Infinity Ventures and Brand Foundry Ventures to fuel growth of its industry-leading Visual Brand Performance Platform.
Added or expanded several bluechip companies on Vizit’s customer roster, including: Mars, Perrigo, Panasonic, Moen, L’Oreal, Harley-Davidson, and many others.
Analyzed over 1 million images for customers across hundreds of global retailers, brand domains and target audience segments using Vizit's patented artificial intelligence software.
Secured its 12th patent for the transformative use of AI technology that makes it possible to predict, score, and compare, the commercial effectiveness of digital images.
“There’s no better time to join Vizit. The world has gone digital and as shoppers move online by the billions we’ve seen marketers, product innovators, and ecommerce leaders realize the critical role their brand and product images play in attracting and converting consumers,” said Wayne St. Amand, Vizit’s COO and EVP of Growth. “As the only technology in existence that predictively measures and optimizes the conversion power of visual content as viewed through the lens of specific audience segments, Vizit is uniquely poised to transform the way global brands build and monetize their omni-channel visual identities. I’m thrilled to be part of the Vizit team.”
